Julián Álvarez, focus Business Devel­opment, is a Director at YIELCO, and Country Head of the Spanish subsidiary, located in Madrid.
Between 2012 and 2023, he worked as Investment Manager in alter­na­tives for Mutua Madrileña, a leading Spanish insurance company based in Madrid, where he partic­i­pated in the construction of the illiquid alter­native invest­ments port­folio in Private Equity, Infra­structure and Private Debt. In addition, he was involved in the set-up of alter­native investment vehicles for third parties with the Group asset manager (Mutu­activos) in Private Equity. He worked previ­ously as a Senior manager in Trans­action Services for EY in Madrid between 2006 and 2012. He began his career in Banco Santander between 2000 and 2005.
Julián holds a bachelor in business admin­is­tration in CUNEF (Madrid) and specialized programs in alter­native investment.
