Maira Fontes, Director at YIELCO Invest­ments, brings over 10 years of expe­rience in Private Markets. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise in Private Markets, managing investor rela­tion­ships and driving business devel­opment activ­ities. In her current role, Maira is respon­sible for over­seeing and nurturing investor rela­tion­ships, leading business devel­opment activ­ities, and iden­ti­fying growth oppor­tu­nities in the Private Markets sector in Germany and abroad. Maira holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the Open University, UK, and an MBA in Inter­na­tional Business from the EU Business School in Munich, Germany, and the University of Roehampton, UK. In addition to her business education, Maira also holds a Degree in Dance from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. She spent 13 years as a profes­sional ballet dancer with the renowned Bavarian State Opera, where she also contributed to the ballet board during her tenure at the insti­tution. She is fluent in English, German, Portuguese and Spanish.
