Axel Veeser has more than 25 years of international experience in the energy sector. Until early 2025, he led the U.S. solar, wind, and battery storage activities of BayWa r.e. Group from Irvine, California, having previously held global responsibility for the company’s wind project business. In this latest role, he oversaw the strategic and operational expansion of BayWa r.e.’s activities in the United States and Mexico and played a key role in positioning the company successfully in one of the world’s most dynamic energy markets.
Before joining BayWa r.e., Axel Veeser held various positions in renewable energy transaction and asset management, including roles at Hideal Partners, Babcock & Brown, and in the Corporate Finance division of UniCredit (HVB). He began his career in financial advisory and investor relations.
Today, he is active as an investor, advisor, and board member and has served on the Advisory Board of YIELCO Investments AG since 2012.
He holds a masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Stuttgart/Germany.
